You can pick and choose what you use and what you leave out, I don’t think any school would expect you to use all of it for every PSHE assessment. There are many ways of assessing in PSHE. This booklet allows you to focus on mastery levels or literacy or skills (based on both Bloom’s Taxonomy and the requirements for extensive writing subjects in GCSE with the 9-1 grades). The booklet offers students a variety of long and short tasks to complete, with the options of either peer or teacher assessment. It includes all guidance on how to mark with two easy mark-schemes. The tasks make it very easy for teachers to evidence progress and are simple enough for students to read through and complete themselves, without much guidance. These assessment sheet have been created with the EC Resources PSHE Packs in mind (as the progress measured reflects the kind of tasks and activities in them) but they can be used with any PSHE unit really. Produced by the CCRC (Criminal Cases Review Commission) with EC Resources. 5 hours of highly-detailed Citizenship lessons in this complete crime unit with 39 slide PowerPoint, written scheme of work, teacher introduction letter and 19 well-differentiated and easy to follow accompanying worksheets. This pack has been produced by the Criminal Cases Review Commission in conjunction with EC Resources (PSHE, RSE and Citizenship specialists) and Tes. It is most suitably used as a Drop Down Day for KS3, but could easily be used for KS4 too. The unit of work follows the story of Lee, a young man who is convicted of murder. It is up to your class to investigate the crime through mock trials, examining fingerprints and DNA forensic clues and discovering new evidence - all whilst learning an incredible amount about the workings of the criminal justice system and the appeal process along the way. An Anti-bullying assembly which follows the story of Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley from Harry Potter) and how he was the target of bullying as he grew up and how he dealt with this. The assembly doesn’t just focus on the obvious reasons why bullying is wrong, but also some less obvious reasons which students might not have thought of before, to create more of an impact. The second half of the assembly focuses on respect - looking at what respect means in practice before ending with some helpful takeaway tips. The assembly will last around 15-20 minutes if clip is watched (3 mins) and suggested questions are asked too. Everything is editable. Autism Awareness Assembly. An assembly all about ASD, what it is, some statistics and facts addressing misconceptions and celebrating the successes of famous people on the autistic spectrum. It lasts around 15-20 mins (inc clip). It includes animations, an option of two different 4 minute clips (one for KS3 and one for KS4/5), statistics, and a little humour. This is really easy to just pick up and use and is intended to help all students embrace and celebrate diversity. Fully editable too.
